This Privacy Policy explains how Rightway Trash Valet (“Rightway,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through rightwaytrash.com (the “Site”). Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use, including their limitation of liability and dispute resolution provisions.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Site and to communications you send us through it. The Site is intended for property managers, owners, and other business representatives. Information about your use of services under a signed agreement is also subject to that agreement. If this policy conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, role, community name, unit count, email address, phone number, and anything else you choose to send. If you contact us about a job, we collect what you include in that inquiry.

Information collected automatically. When you submit a form, we record your IP address, the date and time, the page you were on, and the button or form you used. Our hosting systems may keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and referring site.

Information from others. We may receive information about you from your employer or colleagues, from property owners or managers, from business contacts and public sources, and from our service providers.

3. How we use it

We may use information to:

  • Respond to your request, prepare quotes, and schedule property walks;
  • Provide, manage, invoice for, and improve our services;
  • Follow up with you about Rightway services;
  • Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site;
  • Prevent spam, fraud, and misuse;
  • Review employment inquiries;
  • Comply with law, keep business records, and enforce our agreements; and
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that support our business, such as hosting, email, analytics, call handling, and professional advisers;
  • Your organization and the owners, managers, and vendors connected to a community you asked us about;
  • Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is reasonably needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rightway or others, or to pursue or defend a claim; and
  • Business transfer recipients in connection with a merger, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar transaction, including during due diligence.

We may also share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not identify you.

5. Cookies and analytics

Staff sign-in pages use a session cookie. If we test different versions of a page, we may use a cookie to keep your version consistent. The Site loads fonts from Google, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with it.

We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how the Site is used and which pages lead to quote requests. These tools may use cookies and collect information about your device and activity. Google’s use of this information is governed by its own policies. You can limit cookies through your browser settings, although some features may then stop working. The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

6. Calls and emails

If you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you at that number or address about your request and our services. Calls to or from Rightway may be routed through call-handling or call-tracking providers and may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and business records, as permitted by law. You can ask us to stop sending marketing emails at any time, and we may still send messages about your request or account.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes above, including to maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Quote requests may be kept whether or not you become a customer. When information is no longer needed, we may delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee security. You send information at your own risk. Please do not send passwords, gate codes, financial account numbers, or other sensitive information through the Site’s forms. If a data breach affects you, we will provide any notice the law requires.

9. Community residents

A resident does not need to use the Site to receive valet trash service. When we work at a community, we may handle information such as unit numbers, pickup activity, photos of the condition of a location, and service notes on behalf of the property. The property owner or manager decides how that information is used in connection with the resident’s lease. Please send questions about it to your leasing office.

10. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@rightwaytrash.com. We may need to verify your identity. We may decline or limit a request as the law allows, including when we need the information to provide services, comply with law, keep business records, or resolve a dispute.

Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act if that law applies to Rightway and to the information involved. That law generally does not cover individuals acting in a commercial or employment context. If you believe a request was wrongly declined and the law gives you a right of appeal, email us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

11. Children

The Site is meant for adults acting for a business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it as appropriate.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. Changes apply going forward. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will take any further steps the law requires. The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for use there.
